After their debacle at Jordan Thorne's Christmas office party, Kelly Foster was unsure about bringing Mason to Starbuck's. It was okay with with her if he didn't want to go, Kelly assured. But Mason dressed up and bought a bottle of champagne and announced he'd be cool mingling with the A list. Now they were standing in the middle of Starbuck's living room, champagne in hand, ogling the crowd. Kelly had never been around movie stars. She tried not to gawk at Cruise but, c'mon, when was she ever gonna have another opportunity so up-close-and-personal? She noticed a familiar looking man across the room. It was Anthony Aldente. On his arm was a tall shapely bimbo with teased hair and way too much makeup. "There's the private I told you about," she whispered to Mason. "The guy who gave me so much trouble. That must be his wife Tina. He told me he met her in Vegas. She was a topless dancer." Mason eyed Tina and Aldente. "We're a long way from the Berkshires, Kel," he said. |
