EPISODE 8, SCENE 5 Money made it into the trees beyond the meadow before his makeshift binding repair came apart. This was a bummer for three reasons. (1) was that his boarding day had ended. To repair the binding properly required tools he didn't have. (2) was that the afternoon sun had given way to flat faded gray light. In an hour this place would be bathed in deep darkness. But the most serious bummer (3) was that, given (1) and (2), Money had no idea of how to transport himself back to civilization. It occurred to him that he might have to actually spend the night in the woods. This did not fill him with confidence. Sacking out in the back of his van was chilly but endurable, partially because it was parked in town. Money took stock of his provisions - one Snickers bar. Situation desperate.
